Scrambling weekend North Wales 21/5-23/5/27
North Wales is home to some of the most ioconic Uk Scrambles and this weekednd show cases them. May is a great time of year to get out in the mountains with spring in full swing the the valleys are looking a lush and vibrant green.
Come and join us for this weekend of guided scrambling where we takle 2 scrambles, one each day. Crib Goch and then Tryfan North ridge both are challenging in their own way. With qualified and insured guides we will be there to support you in those momets. We will havew small groups so that the guide s can give the needed for the group.
This trip will include 2 nights of accomodation 2 days of exciting scrambling and a group dinner.
The accomodation will be a Bunk house owned by a local family, sleeping up to 10 people at the foot of Moel Siabod. You will need to bring a Duvet or sleeping bag, pillows and sheets are provided.
Arrive at the accomodation on Friday evening, once everyone has arrived we can head to the Tan-y-Coed hotel, which is a short walk from the accommodation, for a brief of the whole weekend over some drinks.
The saturday mornign we will gather and get going early with getting on the bus to our start location. 9:30am till 3/4pm we will be out on the hill scrambling getting the bus back in the afternoon which conveniently stops outside the Tan-y-Coed Hotel. At 7pm dinner will be ready back at accomodation for all to wenjoy together.
Sunday mornign will have to check out before we leave clearing all our personal belingings out. Then we can drive/car share to the start point of our second scramble as we will depart from here at the end of the day. Timings will be similar for day 2 startign our scramble around 9:30 am and fiunishing around 3/4pm. Once off the Hill we will say our good byes and head off.
